Mackerel fillets with chilli

Spiced mackerel canned in Portugal. ‘Artisanal method since 1920’ refers to the slower, hands-on production Pinhais still swears by to ensure quality. The best mackerel is chosen at the morning fish market and hand packed by the cannery works on the same day; these fillets come in a chilli-spiked olive oil. Add pep to a salad, have with a side of eggs to kick start your morning, or enjoy straight from the tin.
